This is a great job for someone to provide financial guidance and insight to the respective teams on expense management. Challenge teams on areas of productivity and efficiency to meet financial targets. Manage the end-to-end production and submission of expense budgets to stipulated timelines as part of the Finance planning process which takes place three times per year. Represent the UKGI Claims Chief Operating Office and Claims Supply Chain on areas of expense management to internal Stakeholders.

A bit about the job:

  • You will manage expense budgets for UKGI Claims Chief Operating Officer and Claims Supply Chain, Monitoring Performance against plans and expense budgets.
  • Capacity Planning and Business Continuity for Claims Counter Fraud.
  • Business Continuity for Claims Supply Chain.
  • Design appropriate plans to identify areas of improvement to Productivity & Efficiency across the two Functions.
  • Set up and maintain accurate capacity planning models for Claims Counter Fraud.
  • Work closely with the operational teams to ensure resourcing adequacy and scheduling to ensure service is achieved and sustainable.
  • Set up processes to regularly gather data relating to resource requirements across two functions (COO & Supply Chain) covering over 350 FTE, composing of multiple disciplines forming effective internal networks and relationships with management teams.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Broad understanding of UKGI and Claims with strong experience in process, financial and statistical analysis.
  • Manage and deliver data modelling solutions, using operational knowledge and best practice with the ability to use a multitude of data sources.
  • Ability to handle large data sets and demonstrate best practice on standardised data management.
  • Thorough ability to think systemically and understand cause and effect measurement systems.
  • Coaching teams in measurement systems, analytics and modelling skills.
