Overview

We have an exciting opportunity to join our data engineering team at Aviva where you will translate strategic data goals into deliverables and own the product vision to drive innovations that fuel Aviva’s data-driven future. As a Data Product Owner within our esteemed Data Engineering team, you will be an indispensable force, seamlessly integrating into Aviva Quantum, our global hub for Data Science Excellence. Your focus will span across Machine Learning, Analytics, Data Engineering, AI, and more. Your role extends beyond the technical realm, guiding the evolution of our teams with industry-leading approaches and ensuring the culmination of our efforts yields the finest customer experience.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Develop and maintain a detailed data product vision and product roadmaps with clearly defined milestones, specific deliverables and alignment to strategic objectives.
  • Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify and analyse data needs, then transform them into opportunities, outcomes, and benefit cases.
  • Test and validate data products, using various methods for user acceptance testing.
  • Measure and evaluate the performance, impact, and user satisfaction of the data products, using data-driven metrics and feedback mechanisms.
  • Develop and maintain Data Product controls, including but not limited to product manifests and catalogue.
