A bit about the job: This role sits within Aviva’s Finance Technology Platform, part of CIO Group Functions, which delivers both change and business-as-usual technology solutions across key corporate functions including Finance, Risk, HR and Legal. The team plays a critical role in enabling data to flow securely and efficiently into a central repository for operational insight and regulatory reporting. As a Delivery Manager, you’ll lead one or more data initiatives, working closely with Finance, Technology and Data colleagues to shape solutions, plan delivery and see programmes through to successful outcomes. You’ll be accountable for delivery against time, cost and quality, while ensuring strong governance, clear communication and continuous improvement.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Proven experience leading the end-to-end delivery of complex technology and data initiatives within cloud-based environments, from early shaping through to successful delivery.
- Confidence coordinating multidisciplinary, virtual teams and managing resources, budgets and delivery timelines.
- A good working understanding of project delivery approaches, including agile ways of working.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and influence at different levels.
- Organised and proactive, with experience identifying risks, dependencies and issues and helping teams work through them.
What you’ll get for this role:
- Salary: circa £70,000 based (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
- Bonus opportunity 10% of annual salary - Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
