A bit about the job: This role exists to make sure penetration testing across Aviva is effective, consistent and trusted. You’ll own the governance, standards and oversight that turn testing activity into meaningful security assurance. You’ll work closely with technology teams, cyber specialists and external partners, giving clear direction and confidence that risks are understood and managed. You’ll also help shape the future. That means evolving penetration testing from point‑in‑time activity to more continuous, automated and intelligence‑led approaches – including the responsible use of AI.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience in cyber security governance, risk management or control ownership
  • Proven ability to lead and develop people, with accountability for delivery and outcomes
  • Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and managing third‑party suppliers
  • A good understanding of penetration testing models and assurance expectations
  • Experience operating in a regulated environment and supporting audit or regulatory review

  • Salary Circa: £60000 (depending on location, skills, experience and qualifications).
