Cyber Security Specialist – Supplier Relationship Management

A bit about the job:
This role sits within Aviva’s Chief Information Security Office (CISO), where you\’ll help ensure our critical technology suppliers meet cybersecurity standards.
You’ll be part of a team that oversees third-party security performance, manages risks, and ensures compliance with internal controls and policies.
Your work will directly support Aviva’s resilience and security posture, making a tangible difference to our business and customers.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong analytical skills and curiosity, with the ability to quickly understand new technologies and processes.
- Experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or supplier governance—ideally within a complex organisation.
- Technical acumen to engage with IT and security teams and interpret complex issues.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISF SGP) or relevant qualifications is desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide both internal teams and external suppliers.

- Salary: National Circa £45,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity – 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.

- 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can choose to buy or sell up to 5 days.
