Overview

Communications Manager – 2-year contract with a view to becoming permanent. Salary: circa £45,000 (depending on location, skills and experience). Locations: Bristol, London, Norwich, York.

What you’ll do

You’ll lead a team focused on creating and delivering service communications—such as emails and direct mail—that help customers understand changes to their policies and services. These communications support transparency and trust. You’ll work with different areas of the business to plan, prioritise and manage these updates. This role sits within a collaborative and supportive environment where your work makes a real difference to customer experience.

Skills and experience

  • Experience delivering email and direct mail customer communications to tight deadlines
  • Experience leading a team and supporting their development
  • Strong planning and stakeholder management skills to manage communication workflows and prioritise requests
  • Ability to apply customer insights, brand guidelines and regulatory guidance to create clear, engaging communications
  • Understanding of financial services regulations and their role in customer communications

What you’ll get

  • Starting salary circa £45,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
