Aviva are currently seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join their team in Cardiff. Responsibilities

  • Provide an outstanding service to customers and brokers.
  • Drive new business and professional relationships, directly contributing to underwriting profit and loss, trading, and service delivery goals.

Skills and experience

  • Previous insurance experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
  • Proven record of delivering excellent customer outcomes and good knowledge of IT including spreadsheets and word processing.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills and ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated desire to build knowledge and gain experience in the insurance industry.
