Have you delivered projects, campaigns or marketing activities focused on driving engagement with intermediaries and customers? Are you creative, organised and driven to do things differently? Then we might have just the role for you.
Aviva is currently seeking an experienced Marketing Executive to support our Workplace Pensions business. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the wider Aviva Business to deliver communication and engagement strategies encouraging members to engage with their pension. This position is part of the Customer and Marketing function within the Go-To-Market team and involves working collaboratively with other key areas such as Data, Digital, and Campaigns to build engagement plans.
A bit about the job: As a member of our marketing team, you’ll bring our Workplace Pensions proposition to life with the campaigns and marketing activities you deliver. From digital communications to integrated multi-channel campaigns; sales support material to marketing communications, you’ll be contributing to achieving our commercial and brand objectives. To do this, you’ll need to be adept at creating great customer-focused content so that you can execute marketing-led activity with impact, supporting the retention, growth and further engagement of our customers.
We need someone who’s used to working hand-in-hand with technical, compliance and product teams to effectively balance keeping our business safe with delivering great customer outcomes, and who understands the importance of delivering impact and measuring results. You’ll also need to have good attention to detail, be creative and curious and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. We want somebody who’s willing to test out and try new marketing approaches to find what works, rather than accepting the standard way of doing things.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Proven experience delivering B2C and B2B2C marketing campaigns, with an understanding of customer behaviour, audience insights, and using data to drive engagement and performance.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content, present to stakeholders, and translate complex information into clear, customer-focused messaging.
- Creative and proactive mindset, able to think outside the box, identify opportunities, and deliver innovative marketing solutions that support business objectives.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills, with experience collaborating across teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables and a willingness to work within or adapt to Agile ways of working.
What you’ll get for this role:
- Starting salary circa £35,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity – 8% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
- Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
- 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can choose to buy or sell up to 5 days.
- Aviva-funded Private Medical Benefit to help you get expert support when you need it.
- Make your money go further - Up to 40% discount on Aviva products, and other retailer discounts.
- Up to £1,200 of free Aviva shares per year through our Matching Share Plan and share in the success of Aviva with our Save As You Earn scheme.
- Brilliantly supportive policies including parental and carer’s leave.
- Flexible benefits to suit you, including sustainability options such as cycle to work.
- Make a difference, be part of our Aviva Communities and use your 3 paid volunteering days to help others.
- We take your wellbeing seriously with lots of support and tools.
