This is a contract opportunity for someone who is an experienced Finance Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering complex finance and reporting initiatives within a large corporate environment. This role would suit a proactive individual who can quickly establish effective governance, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of critical financial reporting activities to demanding timelines.

You will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities, and driving accountability across finance teams and key business stakeholders. The successful candidate will be able to work autonomously while building strong collaborative relationships to ensure delivery of key reporting and planning milestones.

  • Drive the planning, tracking, and execution of milestones against the Quarterly Financial Reporting Working Day Timetable (WDT).
  • Specialized Financial Deliverables: Project manage the Assumptions Setting and Impact Assessment processes, as well as out-of-cycle reporting exercises (including IFRS Sensitivities, Internal View reporting, and Expected Return exercises).
  • Lead daily reporting stand-ups and project calls; and establish clear escalation channels for risks.
  • Continuous Improvement: Plan and facilitate post-reporting debriefs, document lessons learned, and drive the implementation of process enhancements for future cycles.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary interface across Finance, Actuarial, Investment, Risk, and business leadership to ensure functional alignment and milestone delivery.

Background: Proven experience as a Finance Project Manager or PMO Lead within Financial Services, Insurance, or a similarly regulated corporate environment.

Domain Expertise: In-depth understanding of financial reporting cycles, governance frameworks, and IFRS processes.

Stakeholder Management: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence and presence to influence and hold senior stakeholders accountable under tight deadlines.

Strong track record in risk, issue, dependency, and action tracking (RAID management) within fast-paced environments.

Tooling & Tech: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Teams, with exposure to reporting tools such as Neurons, Plana, or Loop considered an advantage.

High level of autonomy with the ability to bring structure to complex financial workflows.

Strong problem-solving mindset focused on refining operational efficiency and reporting quality.
