- Strong UK Life Insurance underwriting experience, with solid technical knowledge of protection products.
- Ability to make clear, fair and confident decisions that put the customer first.
- Experience supporting colleagues’ growth through coaching, mentoring or guiding less experienced underwriters.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with the confidence to work with others to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Awareness of relevant legislation and underwriting principles, with a willingness to share knowledge and support continuous improvement.
