A bit about the job: As our Merger & Acquisition Cyber Security Manager, you’ll take the helm of all cyber activity across the Merger & Acquisition lifecycle — from early due diligence to post integration assurance. You’ll lead a specialist team, setting direction, mentoring colleagues and ensuring consistent, high-quality assessments across all acquisition work. Working closely with business leads, programme managers and cyber experts across Aviva, you’ll shape our approach to cyber integration, reduce risk, and protect business value through confident, well-informed decision making.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Proven ability to build and grow high performing cyber teams, providing clear leadership and driving strong outcomes.
- Proven ability to define and deliver Merger & Acquisition cyber frameworks, integration plans and strategic approaches.
- Excellent communicator who can translate complex cyber issues into clear, practical guidance for senior leaders.
- Deep knowledge of cyber due diligence, risk assessment and cyber maturity evaluation within acquisitions.
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards and industry best practice in cybersecurity.
