Cloud Engineer in Bristol

A bit about the job:

• This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll deliver real work on a platform that matters.
• You'll help to build and develop our cloud services, take ownership of tasks, and see them through from start to finish.
• As you go, you'll learn from experienced engineers around you and steadily grow to deliver more complex technical work and take a more active role in supporting the design and architecture of those services.
• You'll be part of a team that shares openly and supports each other, working alongside our engineering leaders and internal customer teams to build things that are reliable, well-made and support our internal customers’ needs.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Hands-on experience with AWS, and keen to deepen your skills with Terraform, Python and Jenkins.
• An active interest in new technologies, someone who uses tools like AI to augment your skills to help you deliver.
• Solid problem-solving skills and a logical, methodical approach to working through technical challenges.
• A genuine drive to keep learning and improving, both the services we run and your own craft.
• A security focused mindset, considering security as a priority when you engineer.

What you'll get for this role:

• Starting salary Circa £45k (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
