A bit about the job:

In this role, you will support the delivery of operational tax services across the IWR and Aviva Investors business units within the Group Tax function. The position sits within a collaborative team, working closely with a Senior Operational Taxes Manager and experienced tax specialists. A core part of the role focuses on operational tax activities, including overseas withholding tax reclaims, tax documentation and accruals. Alongside this, there is the opportunity to contribute to advisory work aligned to experience and grade. The role is hands-on, combining day-to-day delivery with opportunities to identify improvements and bring fresh thinking to how work is completed efficiently and accurately.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience in tax, finance or financial services, ideally with exposure to operational taxes
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately in a technical environment
  • A willingness to learn quickly and apply knowledge in practice
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders
  • Experience with systems such as Clearwater or similar platforms would be beneficial
