AI Developer – Travel
Salary: Circa £35,000 – £45,000

We are looking for an AI Developer to join our team and drive innovation in Aviva\’s Travel insurance offering. If you are newly qualified in AI or have previous experience in a related role and are excited to deliver on projects, we would love to hear from you!
About the role:
- Deploy and monitor AI and GenAI solutions within the Data and Analytics team.
- Support the operations team for Aviva\’s Travel insurance offering.
- Work on Aviva\’s overall GenAI Copilot strategy to enable data-driven decisions for efficient and consistent customer outcomes.
- Collaborate with Quantum to share expertise, foster continuous learning, and rapidly re-use best practice ideas.
Skills and experience required:
- Proficient in latest GenAI practices like prompt engineering and RAG systems, with awareness of emerging technologies such as Agentic AI.
- Skilled in integrating services via Python-based pipelines, including package creation, and developing for user application interfaces.
- Knowledgeable in Kubernetes infrastructure, Docker containerization, and deployment through Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Basic understanding of Travel insurance products.
- Experience or willingness to learn Software Development Lifecycle, including configuration management and GIT flow best practices, and capable of translating stakeholder requirements into GenAI solutions.
