A bit about the job
We’re looking for an Agile Delivery Specialist to join our Finance Data Delivery team. In this role, you’ll lead our Agile delivery approach — supporting the team to turn business requirements into high‑quality data solutions for our Accounting and Actuarial colleagues.
You’ll employ Agile delivery techniques to manage the development, testing and implementation of practical data architectures and drive improvements in data reliability, efficiency and quality. You’ll remove blockers, support backlog prioritisation, plan sprints, and keep everything moving smoothly through the change lifecycle. You’ll also provide clear, concise progress updates to stakeholders and encourage a culture of transparency, learning and continuous improvement.
Skills and experience we’re looking for
- Proven Track record of leading multiple development teams using Agile delivery practices with the Ability to manage and track budgets up to £2m
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build positive relationships across business and technical teams
- Project management experience, including resource planning and risk/issue management
- Experience using Confluence, Jira, Microsoft packages and some experience of the AWS Cloud platform
- Basic knowledge of accounting processes is preferable
