The predicted salary is between 65000 - 75000 £ per year.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified actuary looking to broaden their actuarial and commercial perspective and further develop their Solvency II and IFRS 17 expertise. You'll review and challenge complex actuarial results across multiple businesses, developing a deeper understanding of key risks, judgements and reporting outcomes. The role offers the opportunity to work with senior Actuarial and Finance leaders across the Group with exposure to Group- and subsidiary-level reporting and Aviva’s Internal Model, while helping build the skills and experience needed to progress your actuarial career.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Actuary (FIA or equivalent) with experience working within life insurance, pensions or financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex information, identify key risks and insights, and communicate technical actuarial concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders, including senior management and committees.
  • Ability to apply sound judgement, challenge constructively and build effective working relationships across teams.
  • Experience in actuarial reporting, valuation, capital management, model governance or risk oversight activities.

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Starting salary between c. £65,000 and c. £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
