A bit about the job: This role exists to protect client assets and strengthen Aviva UK Insurance, Wealth and Retirement’s (IWR) CASS control environment through high-quality assurance and oversight. In this role, you will lead risk-based assurance activity, providing insight and challenge to ensure controls are effective and aligned with regulatory expectations. Working across the business, you will build strong relationships with key stakeholders and contribute to governance forums, helping shape decision-making at a senior level. As the CASS Assurance Manager, you will analyse operational processes, risk data, incidents, and breaches to identify trends and drive meaningful improvements. As part of a collaborative team, you will play a key role in embedding a strong CASS culture while developing your own technical expertise.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong CASS knowledge and/or knowledge of investment platforms and understanding of related products or processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify control weaknesses and drive improvements.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with confidence to challenge stakeholders constructively.
  • A proactive, inquisitive approach with the ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality work to deadlines.

  • Salary circa £55,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
  • Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
