This role is ideal for an experienced account manager who enjoys working in a consultative, data-driven way and is ready to take ownership of a key partnership within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

A bit about the job: In this role, you will manage a strategically important Employee Benefit Consultancy where you'll be leading the conversation with their advisers and clients, helping to drive new business acquisition, growth, retention and long-term value. Working as part of Aviva’s Distribution team, this role focuses on developing and delivering account plans that align with both the Employee Benefit Consultancy's needs and Aviva's commercial objectives.

You will look to broaden and deepen engagement with advisers and their clients, using insight and market knowledge to shape tailored solutions and strengthen partnerships increasing Aviva's share of wallet and delivering excellent outcomes for customers and partners. You will collaborate with teams across Aviva to deliver the right outcomes for customers while ensuring a consistent and joined-up approach, making regular face to face visits at key locations in London and on the South coast.

This role plays a key part in influencing trading performance through negotiation, relationship management, and the delivery of agreed acquisition and growth plans using data and insights to track performance, identify opportunities, and support decision-making across your portfolio.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in corporate account management, relationship management, or business development, ideally within the employee benefit space
  • Experience working with employee benefit products like Group Protection or Healthcare
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify and deliver profitable growth opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage strategic relationships with brokers or key clients
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience using data and insight to inform decisions, track performance, and shape account strategies
