A bit about the job
This role exists to ensure reinsurance claims within hybrid MGA fronting arrangements are handled accurately, on time, and in line with Aviva’s standards. You’ll join our Major & Complex Reinsurance Claims team, working closely with Claims, Underwriting, Finance, and external partners. The team oversees delegated reinsurance claims activity and focuses on data quality, recoveries, and controls. You’ll be accountable for preparing reinsurance claims bordereaux reports, supporting reinsurance recoveries, and maintaining accurate financial records. Your work protects Aviva’s financial position and helps build strong, trusted partner relationships.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience in UK Commercial Lines (GCS) claims handling or operations.
- Understanding of reinsurance claims and delegated authority arrangements.
- Strong analytical skills, with confidence using Excel and claims data.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and challenge constructively.
- Good attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
