A bit about the job:

You'll join our Reinsurance Accounting Operations team, supporting financial activities across Aviva's General Insurance business. The team manages reinsurance premiums, recoveries and financial transactions, helping us meet our contractual commitments accurately and on time. You'll process transactions, support payments and help maintain strong financial controls across our operations. Working with colleagues across Finance, Underwriting, brokers and reinsurers, you'll help keep our processes running smoothly. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to improvement initiatives while developing your knowledge of reinsurance and finance operations.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities - previous Finance or Insurance experience would be beneficial
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and data quality.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
  • Good communication skills and experience building positive stakeholder relationships.
  • A proactive and curious approach, with an interest in improving processes and finding better ways of working.

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Salary circa £28,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
  • Bonus opportunity: 6% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
