As a Data Engineering Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the design, development, and maintenance of data solutions that enable business teams to make informed decisions. Working within a collaborative data engineering environment, you will help build and optimise data pipelines, ensure data quality and reliability, support data migration and integration activities, and contribute to delivering scalable, cloud-based data solutions. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders while continuously developing your expertise in modern data engineering tools, platforms, and best practices.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong hands‑on experience with SQL and Python for data querying, transformation, automation, and analysis.
- Good understanding of data engineering principles, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data modelling, data warehousing, and data quality management.
- Experience working with Git, cloud‑based data platforms, and modern data technologies, with exposure to CI/CD practices.
- Experience working with modern cloud‑based data platforms, data transformation frameworks, and scalable data engineering solutions is desirable.
- The ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly is important.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive approach to learning, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
