A bit about the job:

  • Join our Third-Party Security team and play a key role in helping Aviva manage supplier and client security risks.
  • You'll work closely with colleagues, suppliers and corporate clients to make sure security requirements are understood and met from the start.
  • You'll assess security controls, support due diligence activities and provide practical security advice across the business.
  • Your work will help us identify risks early, strengthen supplier security and support Aviva's wider Cyber Security strategy.
  • You'll be accountable for delivering timely security assessments and helping stakeholders make informed, risk-based decisions.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Experience carrying out supplier security reviews, information security assessments or security risk management activities.
  • Strong understanding of international regulatory requirements, including applicable US cyber security, privacy and financial services regulations.
  • Working with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions, you'll help ensure security controls and risk management practices align with both Aviva and regulatory expectations.
  • Experience identifying risks and recommending practical actions to reduce them.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across technical and business teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple assessments and priorities while maintaining a high standard of work.
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, including Excel reporting, formulas, charts and tables, would be beneficial.
