A bit about the job:
As a Mandate Monitoring Oversight Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of outsourced mandate monitoring activities, including both pre- and post‑trade checks and the implementation of new or revised investment guidelines. You’ll provide the business with clear insight into the status and root causes of mandate and rule breaches, contributing actively to preventing future issues. In this role, you will oversee the effectiveness of investment restriction monitoring in line with agreed timelines, track service levels to ensure outsourced activity is completed to the required standard and produce meaningful MI for internal stakeholders. You will also collaborate closely with our outsourced service provider to coordinate process changes and support continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail‑oriented, proactive professional—regardless of gender—to play a vital part in maintaining strong governance and control across our investment monitoring framework.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Degree, or able to demonstrate a suitable depth of intellectual rigor and maturity.
- IMC or equivalent an advantage; or recognized historical knowledge, experience and/or qualification.
- Good understanding of compliance monitoring processes including interpretation of discretionary client investment management agreements.
- Knowledge of UK, Irish and Luxembourg regulation with respect to retail funds.
- Experience of supplier oversight including monitoring of service levels and issue resolution.
