We are working with a leading food manufacturer who are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their flagship site in Nottingham. You will be leading a team of 20 engineers, reporting to the engineering manager. There is scope with this role to progress to the Engineering Manager position as the company grows and develops.
Key Responsibilities
- You will oversee maintenance operations, drive continuous improvement, ensuring production downtime and plant reliability are managed.
- In this role, you will make safe and informed decisions where you will be given the responsibility to deliver results within the maintenance strategy.
- As the Maintenance Manager, you will need to be confident and assertive as you will be the decision maker in a large number of maintenance activities.
- There are lots of exciting plans taking place at the business, one including a brand new £5m line being implemented into the factory to create a new product.
Qualifications
- Maintenance Manager with FMCG or food manufacturing experience
- Minimum of 3 years as a Maintenance Manager
- Prior experience leading projects, managing budgets, contractor management, implementation of CapEx, health and safety management
