A bit about the job: The Aviva Strategy team supports the Group CEO and Group ExCo in developing and refining Aviva’s Strategy. The team is made up of experienced strategy professionals drawn from top consulting firms, corporate strategy functions at other blue-chip firms, and within Aviva. The Strategy Manager is a key role in the team, responsible for running strategy projects E2E, driving the team’s strategic insights and recommendations, and building/maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders in the business. The role delivers value to Aviva by enabling quality management decision-making on some of the most important questions facing our business.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong Financial Services experience with strong preference in: P&C insurance, Wealth, Health & Protection, customer, AI
  • Deep strategy experience in consulting or in-house strategy & corporate development teams in a blue-chip Financial Services firm
  • Proven problem-solving skills and good ability to structure & frame solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong quantitative analytical skills
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Starting salary £85-115k (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
  • Bonus opportunity – 12% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
