  • This includes assessing European and cross-border credit risks, reviewing financial and legal structures, and applying strong judgement to high-value cases.
  • You’ll build strong relationships with brokers, clients and internal stakeholders, structuring solutions that meet client needs while managing risk.
  • You’ll also support colleagues as a technical referral point and contribute to the ongoing performance and development of the Surety portfolio.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience underwriting surety or similar Financial Lines risks, including complex cases.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis and credit risk assessment.
  • Confident decision-making within delegated authority, with good judgement.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with brokers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working with European or cross-border risks is helpful but not essential.

  • Brilliantly supportive policies including parental and carer's leave.
  • Flexible benefits to suit you, including sustainability options such as cycle to work.
  • Make a difference, be part of Aviva Communities and use your 3 paid volunteering days to help others.
  • We take your wellbeing seriously with lots of support and tools.
