Are you someone who enjoys building and improving secure infrastructure? This is a great role for someone with hands‐on experience in cyber security infrastructure, who enjoys automating processes, solving complex problems, and working across teams to deliver secure, scalable platforms.
A bit about the job:
You'll join our Security Infrastructure Squad, where we support the core cyber security platforms that keep Aviva secure. From logging infrastructure and vulnerability scanning to threat hunting and penetration testing environments, your work will help protect our markets and customers. In this role, you'll operate and improve our security infrastructure across on‐prem and hybrid environments. You'll focus on automation, reliability, and modern engineering practices—making sure our platforms are secure, scalable, and ready for the future. You'll also work closely with teams across Cyber and IT to keep systems aligned, integrated, and performing at their best.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Strong experience supporting on‐prem or hybrid security infrastructure, with scripting skills (e.g., Python or PowerShell)
- Hands‐on experience with vulnerability scanning platforms and security tooling
- Good understanding of Security Logging, SIEM or analytics platforms and how security data is used
- Knowledge of PKI, certificate management, and secure communication (e.g., mutual TLS)
- Confident communicator who can work with stakeholders and produce clear documentation
