As a Data Product Owner within our esteemed Data Engineering team, you will be an indispensable force, seamlessly integrating into Aviva Quantum, our global hub for Data Science Excellence. Here, our focus spans across a spectrum of disciplines, encompassing Machine Learning, Analytics, Data Engineering, AI, and more.

Your role extends beyond the technical realm. You will serve as a beacon of innovation, guiding the evolution of our teams with an eye towards industry-leading approaches. Your collaborative spirit will drive forces as your teams engage with other areas of Aviva, ensuring the culmination of our efforts yields nothing less than the finest customer experience.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Develop and maintain detailed data product vision and product roadmaps with clearly defined milestones, specific deliverables and alignment to strategic objectives
  • Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify and analyse data needs, then transform them into opportunities, outcomes, and benefit cases
  • Test and validate data products, using various methods for user acceptance testing
  • Measure and evaluate the performance, impact, and user satisfaction of the data products using data-driven metrics and feedback mechanisms
  • Develop and maintain Data Product controls, including but not limited to Data Product manifests and catalogue

  • Starting salary between c. £50,000–£60,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
