Key Responsibilities
- This role sits within the Probitas Finance Leadership team, reporting to the Head of Finance.
- You’ll lead both the corporate finance function across UK and overseas entities, and the finance operations team, ensuring compliance and driving process improvements.
- You’ll be the key link between Probitas and Aviva, helping deliver change while maintaining business-as-usual.
Skills and experience
- Qualified accountant with significant experience in a senior finance role within the insurance industry.
- Consolidation experience is highly desirable, ideally in a Lloyd's business - but will consider other insurance businesses.
- Strong team leadership and stakeholder management experience with a proven track record in delivering finance change projects.
- Knowledge of accounting standards, both UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Skilled in financial reporting, data analysis and systems (SUN/Oracle GL desirable).
- Proven experience in insurance accounting and working across related corporate entities; Lloyd’s market exposure is a strong advantage.
