A bit about the job: As a Claims Handler, you’ll support customers when they need us most, managing claims and guiding them through what can often be a stressful experience. Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll handle calls from customers and suppliers, resolve queries, and provide tailored claims solutions to meet individual needs. You’ll be responsible for making liability decisions, setting clear expectations, and helping customers get back on the road as quickly as possible. As the role evolves, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of the full claims journey, contributing to great customer outcomes and business success.
Working hours: Our standard full-time contracts are 37.5 hours per week, with shift patterns covering the following operating hours:
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 20:00
- Saturday: 09:00 – 17:00
- Sunday: 10:00 – 17:00
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to support customers in an empathetic and professional way
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and prioritising effectively
- A proactive team player who is eager to learn and contribute
- Confident IT skills, including experience using systems such as Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Previous experience in a customer service or contact centre environment is desirable but not essential
