This is a great job for someone who thrives in a complex change environment and enjoys bringing structure, insight and coordination to large-scale transformation programmes. You may have experience in portfolio management, programme planning, PMO, governance or delivery assurance and be looking to broaden your exposure within a high-profile strategic initiative.
A bit about the job:
We have an exciting 12 month opportunity to join the Direct Line integration programme as an Integration Portfolio Manager Management Office. The Direct Line integration is one of Aviva’s most significant transformation programmes, bringing together activity across multiple business areas to support a safe, controlled and successful integration. You’ll help maintain the information, governance and reporting that enables senior leaders to understand delivery performance, manage emerging risks and make informed decisions. You'll also play an important role in embedding sustainable governance, planning and assurance processes as activity transitions into internal teams.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience in portfolio management, programme planning, PMO, governance, reporting or delivery assurance within a complex transformation or change environment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience of integrated planning, milestone tracking, dependency management and translating complex information into clear recommendations and insights.
- Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with delivery, finance, risk and control teams, providing constructive challenge where required.
- Experience supporting governance, assurance or risk management activities, including monitoring actions, tracking remediation and preparing reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to manage competing priorities, improve ways of working and confidently use reporting and portfolio management tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project or Planview.

- Salary circa £85,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary (actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s).
- Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.

- Up to £1,200 of free Aviva shares per year through our Matching Share Plan and share in the success of Aviva with our Save As You Earn scheme.
- Brilliantly supportive policies including parental and carer’s leave.
- Flexible benefits to suit you, including sustainability options such as cycle to work.
- Make a difference, be part of our Aviva Communities and use your 3 paid volunteering days to help others.
- We take your wellbeing seriously with lots of support and tools.
