A bit about the job:
As a senior member within the London-based Central Distribution Solutions team at Aviva Investors, you will head the Market Intelligence Insights Team, playing a pivotal role in shaping our data-driven distribution strategy. Your leadership will be central to cultivating a high-performance culture by delivering objective, contextualised market and client insights that align with Aviva Investors’ investment capabilities.
You will be responsible for translating complex data into actionable intelligence, enabling informed decision-making across global markets and channels. This includes proactively monitoring client and market trends, identifying commercial opportunities, and driving adoption of insights across the business. In this cross-functional role, you will collaborate closely with Distribution, Marketing, Technology, Product, and Investment teams to ensure insights are embedded into strategic planning and execution. Your ability to engage stakeholders at all levels paired with a strong commercial mindset will be key to enhancing our competitive edge. Leading a high-performing team, you will ensure the timely delivery of accurate and relevant market intelligence to support strategic initiatives across Aviva Investors’ distribution network.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:

A track record of having taken a data driven approach to delivering outcomes linked to driving business success with a commercial mind-set is imperative.

Managing a team, line management of direct reports, adherence to agreed budget, risk and other control metrics.

Third party database knowledge such as Broadridge, Morningstar, eVestment.

Asset management professional with an eye for continuous improvement and analytical mindset

Professional qualifications such as IMC would be advantageous.
