Head of Supplier Governance and Operational Resilience
This is a great job for someone with a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks including DORA, operational resilience and third-party risk management who is ready to lead from the front. As Head of Supplier Governance and Operational Resilience, you’ll shape and drive strategic, operational, and leadership decisions that directly strengthen Aviva Investors’ supplier governance and resilience landscape.
A bit about the job:
This is a great opportunity for someone with deep expertise in regulatory frameworks like DORA, operational resilience, and third-party risk. As Head of Supplier Governance and Operational Resilience, you’ll drive the delivery of a safe, compliant, and resilient operating model across Aviva Investors.
This role will be pivotal in the implementation of Operational Resilience and DORA across all in-scope entities, embed resilience into our culture, and ensure our outsourced model remains secure and robust. You’ll shape and execute a business-wide resilience strategy, influence regulatory readiness, and respond to events that could impact critical services championing continuous improvement and a culture of resilience at every level.
You will also oversee supplier governance and third-party risk management, ensuring that our outsourced model remains robust, secure, and aligned with industry-leading standards. In this role, you will develop and embed a comprehensive, business-wide resilience strategy that evolves with our transforming operating model and third-party landscape
Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Proven leadership in operational and digital resilience within the asset management (buy-side) industry

Strong track record of delivering technology and regulatory change across investment and distribution systems

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives in complex, matrixed environments

Hands-on experience implementing Operational Resilience and DORA regulations in comparable organisations

Deep understanding of managing heavily outsourced and third-party operating models across EMEA and beyond
