A bit about the job: This role exists to support the Group Compliance and Conduct Director by partnering with Aviva’s Group Functions, providing strategic, pragmatic regulatory compliance and conduct advice to support the achievement of their objectives. Advisory related responsibilities include collaborating with Markets on high-impact regulatory activities and providing broader risk partnering services to certain group functions. You will ensure relevant Group Policies, Frameworks and Business Standards are thought leading, underpinned by an appropriate, risk based, control environment. Developing and providing training on Compliance and Conduct topics, frameworks and standards is another core component of the role. As a dynamic, data-rich organisation, which is embracing use of new technologies including Gen AI, keeping up to date with developments, and supporting the adoption of data-led work approaches underpinned by new technologies is critical to the success of the role. You will constructively support the delivery of great customer outcomes through all activities and deliverables, enabling great service and experiences and customer’s pursuit of their financial objectives.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Direct experience leading Conduct and Compliance teams with a proven track record in developing and embedding policies, standards, and frameworks, and partnering with first line businesses and group functions.
- Strong communication skills with a flexible influencing style and excellent relationship building and collaboration skills.
- Strong programme and project management skills.
- Proven ability to produce meaningful, insightful reports for senior stakeholders.
- Curious, experienced in and a strong appetite for working with data and to generate new insights and with new technologies to facilitate more effective ways of working.

- National Salary Circa £100,000, London Salary Circa £120,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
