Are you someone with exceptional leadership experience? Do you love managing people and driving performance? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Operational Leader to join our PL Home Claims team at Aviva. This role is pivotal in providing day-to-day operational leadership and guiding a team of Leaders.
A bit about the job: As a Frontline Operational Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team or multiple teams handling claims and act as a role model to maintain customer service standards, best practice and driving performance outcomes, whilst ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, industry regulations and internal customer quality standards. The Home Claims team is at the core of our Claims department, representing the moment of truth for our customers as we deliver on the promises of our products. Our new colleague will provide leadership and direction to the Home Claims team, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient claim processing.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong interpersonal and inspiring leadership credentials, including leading through others.
- Previous experience from the insurance industry is ideal but not essential.
- Proven track record of coaching, empowerment, and engagement.
- Strong organisational skills and effective motivator in a busy, operational environment.
What you’ll get for this role:
- Salary circa £45,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
- Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
- Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
