We are recruiting for an ESG Project Manager to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who understands the UK asset management industry with experience of working with users from the front and back-office environments.
Our 40+ strong sustainable investing team works closely with colleagues across the business, leveraging their skills and knowledge to contribute to clientsâ sustainability goals and investment outcomes. We aim to work in partnership with our clients to understand their specific sustainability needs and identify the right solutions for them.
A bit about the role:
As an ESG Project Manager, you will lead the professional delivery of strategic change initiatives within Aviva Investors, with a particular focus on a clientâfacing transformation that requires close partnership and clear, collaborative engagement. Youâll bring proven experience in delivering ESG or sustainabilityârelated projects, along with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and drive progress through senior stakeholders and subjectâmatter experts. You will be accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget and to the agreed quality standards, ensuring all activity aligns with Aviva and Aviva Investors Transformation protocols. Youâll produce clear, accurate and comprehensive documentationâincluding delivery artefacts, operating models and proceduresâwhile keeping sponsors, stakeholders and partners informed of progress and issues. In this role, you will champion process and service improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce risk, develop robust and scalable operational solutions, provide highâquality collateral for governance and reporting forums, and make budget decisions in partnership with business sponsors and the Finance team.
Skills and experience weâre looking for:
- Likely to be educated to degree or equivalent level and/or a professional Project Management
- Understanding of Investment Management business (Fund structures, Front, Middle and Back office)
- Specific experience around the real estate asset class
- Experience of Data and Reporting focussed projects which require Technical analysis and understanding along with clear attention to detail
- Experience of using rapid continuous change methodology e.g. Agile
