We are recruiting for a COO Delivery & Performance Manager to join our Chief Operating Officerâs team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong experience in business management and has worked in a COO/CTO office, PMO, or strategy roles.
With a global remit spanning operations, transformation, and IT, our COO team ensures an exceptional client experience. Whether itâs optimising key processes, managing relationships with strategic partners, launching innovative new products, or onboarding clients seamlessly, every project is an opportunity to drive efficiency and innovation at scale.
A bit about the role: The COO Delivery & Performance Manager plays a pivotal role in driving delivery discipline, performance transparency and execution momentum across the COO function. Working closely with the COO, this role ensures priorities are clearly defined, plans are cohesive, progress is measurable and risks are identified early, enabling strong visibility and control across technology, transformation, operations and outsourced services. Acting as a central point of orchestration, the role aligns activity to strategic intent, strengthens delivery.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development and execution of the functionâs strategy, priorities and threeâyear plan.
- Leading the annual operating plan and budget process across Operations, Technology and Transformation.
- Partnering with Finance to set and track delivery against the financial plan.
- Improving analysis and modelling of thirdâparty costs.
- Monitoring performance through dashboards, scorecards and executive updates.
- Coordinating the COO Leadership Teamâs agenda, meetings and offsites.
- Maintaining the organisationâs windâdown planning process.
- Running the COO Leadership Team operating rhythm, including escalation and resolution of critical issues to ensure timely, informed decisionâmaking.
Skills and experience weâre looking for:
- Ability to bring together complex information from multiple sources and communicate it clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders.
- Experience in financial and budget management, whether through ownership of a cost centre or supporting the delivery of large, multimillion-pound programmes, with a focus on forecasting and delivery.
- Knowledge of the Investment Management industry, including custodial and pooled fund structures, alongside an awareness of relevant regulatory requirements.
- Experience contributing to, or working within, large-scale transformation initiatives or technology modernisation programmes.
