Our Loss Adjuster roles are based in Birmingham, Bristol, London and Norwich. We champion hybrid working at Aviva (typically three days in the office and two days from home), so you’ll need to live within commuting distance of the office where your chosen role is based. You’ll get the benefit of spending time with colleagues in real life as well as gaining more work‑life balance. Loss adjusting is all about helping people through life\’s toughest moments – whether it\’s a fire, flood, or burst pipe. At Aviva, we\’re looking to build a market‑leading in‑house team and we\’re looking for you to bring your unique perspective and ideas to a growing field. From day one, you’ll be hands‑on, managing claims like a project manager and guiding customers through recovery with empathy and technical skill. No two cases are the same, and you’ll quickly build confidence, resilience, and problem‑solving expertise. With climate change driving more extreme weather, your role will be more important than ever. You\’ll explore sustainable repair methods, work with local authorities on flood defences, and help tackle industry challenges like insurance fraud.
We\’re one of the UK\’s leading insurance companies. We\’re here to support people when it matters most – through every stage of life. Whether it\’s protecting their car, home, health or life, or helping them save for their future and retirement, we focus on what truly matters to our over 25 million customers in the UK, Ireland, and Canada.
Join Aviva and you can expect to work within a diverse team and be encouraged to find your spark, your way. You\’ll be supported by friendly colleagues, flexible working and the tools and training to help you thrive.
