This role sits within the Aviva Client Change team, part of Aviva Investors' Insurance & Investment Solutions function. The team delivers strategic, client-focused change across Aviva Investors, supporting UK & Ireland Insurance businesses in achieving operational and investment objectives. You will operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment, leading complex, high-impact change initiatives across multiple business areas, often involving client, operational, and regulatory stakeholders.
We are particularly looking for someone whose most recent roles have been in product, project management, business analysis, or change delivery, ideally within an asset management or investment management environment.
As a Client Change Manager, you will lead the delivery of multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and successful outcomes across internal stakeholders, third-party partners, and client-facing teams. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering end-to-end business change across Aviva Investors, ensuring strong governance, control, and benefits realisation.
- Lead day-to-day delivery of multiple projects/workstreams, including client-impacting and strategic initiatives.
- Engage business sponsors, senior stakeholders, and third-party partners throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Maintain clear, accurate, and transparent project reporting, escalating issues with clear remediation options.
- Identify, assess, and actively manage risks, dependencies, and issues across the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate and articulate the impact of change on scope, timeline, cost, and benefits, supporting decision-making.
- Ensure successful business adoption of change and support benefits realisation post-implementation.
- Produce high-quality governance documentation for steering committees and working groups.
- Maintain and develop key project artefacts including operating models, process documentation, and delivery materials.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree educated or equivalent experience.
- Strong asset management / investment management industry experience (front, middle, or back office).
- Recent experience in project management, product delivery, business analysis, or change management roles.
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end change in complex organisations.
- Strong understanding of operational processes within investment/asset management environments.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and fast-moving delivery environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership.
- Experience working across multiple regions with awareness of cultural and organisational differences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard project management tools.
Highly Desirable
- Project management qualification (PRINCE2, AgilePM, PMI or equivalent).
- Experience working in large-scale investment or asset management transformation programmes.
