CASS Oversight Manager
This role is ideal for someone with relevant experience in executing Client Money (CASS) day-to-day activities within a practical operations context.
About the job:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to maintain and enhance our robust CASS governance and control framework, ensuring full compliance with regulatory obligations. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and documenting the firm’s CASS footprint, executing a comprehensive CASS Oversight programme, and continuously improving policies and controls to safeguard client money and assets. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day oversight activities, identifying and resolving breaches, and acting as the primary contact for internal and external audits. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation of CASS controls, providing technical expertise, delivering training, and ensuring timely regulatory reporting. Additionally, the candidate will manage the CASS Resolution Pack, lead the monthly CASS Working Group, and support senior leadership by preparing insightful reports and assessing the impact of regulatory changes on business operations.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) desirable but not essential.
- Detailed knowledge of the Client Assets Sourcebook and its impact on investment management firms.
- Broad understanding of other regulatory obligations and handbooks relevant to an investment manager such as COBS.
- Knowledge of products and services of an investment management firm.
