We’re looking for a Business Support Analyst to join our Investment Operations team in York. The work we do is critical to our customers’ funds and futures. You’ll help ensure prices are calculated accurately and delivered on time, so our customers can see the value of their pensions and make informed decisions.
A bit about the job:
You’ll be part of Investment Operations, a key function within Aviva Finance Operations. We make sure our customers’ life and pension premiums are invested in the right funds, and that their investments are valued accurately. Our team supports the pricing and accounting of around £100bn across 600 unit‑linked funds. Every day we validate thousands of securities and calculate prices that help our customers manage their investments. You’ll play a vital role in keeping these processes running smoothly and improving them where we can.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong numeracy and problem‑solving skills, with solid Excel ability.
- Understanding of databases, user access controls, and change management.
- Comfortable working with data sets and interpreting information from different sources.
- Interest in financial markets, securities, or investments with the ability to work flexibly and accurately under time pressure.
- Minimum of A Level in any Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths.

- Salary: circa £28,000, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
