A bit about the job

In this role, you will support UK corporate tax compliance, reporting and advisory activity across the Aviva Group. The work helps ensure the business pays the right amount of tax at the right time, in line with legislation and Group Tax Standards. You will work closely with Tax and Finance colleagues, contributing to accurate reporting, statutory returns and continuous improvement through smarter processes, data and automation. The role plays an important part in protecting Aviva’s reputation and supporting sustainable decision‑making across the business.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience or interest in UK corporate tax compliance, reporting or advisory work (training and support provided).
  • The successful candidate will be either an accountant, part‑qualified tax professional or otherwise comparably qualified by experience (gained either in industry or in practice).
  • Strong Excel skills, with confidence creating and editing documents in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyse information, spot issues and explain tax risks clearly to non‑specialists.
  • Good planning and organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • A collaborative, professional approach and confidence working with colleagues both face to face and online across Finance and Tax.
