We are recruiting for a Senior Financial Crime Analyst to join our COO team, supporting compliance, oversight and risk management across multiple jurisdictions.
The role involves strengthening financial crime controls, ensuring compliance with Anti‑Money‑Laundering regulations and Aviva’s Financial Crime Standards, and providing guidance and oversight to maintain robust controls.
A bit about the role: As a Financial Crime Manager, you will play a key role in protecting Aviva Investors from financial crime, taking ownership of key activities, applying a risk‑based approach to support strong customer outcomes, and challenging stakeholders to meet high standards.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Proven experience delivering and overseeing financial crime controls within investment management, asset management, or the wider financial services sector, with a strong understanding of AML, fraud, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong experience applying risk‑based decision‑making, with confidence in conducting and reviewing customer due diligence using financial crime systems, screening tools, and third‑party data providers.
- A solid understanding of corporate structures and financial crime processes, with the ability to take ownership, provide effective challenge, and drive the right outcomes.
- Experience influencing stakeholders and supporting decision‑making in a regulated environment.
- Practical financial crime experience, or transferable skills from a related background such as Legal or Risk.
- A professional qualification in financial crime (e.g. International Compliance Association), or equivalent.
