A bit about the role:

As a Revenue Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate revenue calculations and timely billing, supporting streamlined financial reporting and MI that enables senior leadership to assess how effectively the business is delivering its strategy. You'll help protect the organisation from reputational risk by overseeing a highly controlled, "right‐first‐time" billing process that enhances the customer experience and supports the growth of our client base. In this role, you will lead on the delivery of accurate monthly revenues—including accruals and billing—taking ownership of any issues identified and ensuring they are resolved promptly. You'll provide line management to a team of analysts and oversee the activities of our offshore client billing team, while also supporting both internal and external audits. Collaboration will be key, as you'll work closely with our Change team to provide expert input into system developments, and partner with wider Finance teams such as Business Partnering and FP&A to deepen understanding of revenue streams and contribute to forecasting, planning and profitability cycles. You will also ensure that meaningful financial controls are embedded, consistently followed, and fully evidenced.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to manipulate large volumes of data making use of strong excel skills
  • Excellent networking and communication skills, enabling the role holder to engage across the business, analyse information, and to establish & maintain effective relationships
  • Ability to challenge existing processes and implement innovative solutions
  • Previous experience within the asset management or financial services industries is preferable
  • Degree qualified or equivalent / Qualified Accountant or equivalent (ACA, ACCA or CIMA preferred)
