Role: We’re recruiting for an Investment Content Writer to join our Distribution function within Aviva Investors! If you have experience in content writing or come from a journalism background — and you love shaping ideas into clear, compelling messages — this role offers a fantastic opportunity. You’ll be joining a team that recognises the impact of great writing. Investment expertise means nothing if clients don’t experience it. Our business development and client experience teams build trusted relationships across regions, while our marketing, investment, and communications teams showcase what sets us apart – powering our growth.
Responsibilities: As an Investment Writer, you will be responsible for delivering a diverse range of investment and marketing content that supports the Aviva Investors Customer and Marketing global plan. You will help maintain a strong pipeline of high-quality, engaging content that meets client needs across public markets, private markets, and sustainability. Working closely with investment teams and marketing colleagues, you will conceive and produce market-leading content that reflects a strong understanding of investment markets and Aviva Investors’ capabilities. You will create value-added thought leadership showcasing our investment insight, alongside a broad suite of materials to support product and brand campaigns across Aviva client channels. In this role, you will ensure all content is commercially aligned, engaging and of an exceptional standard. You will also build strong relationships with key stakeholders—including Portfolio Managers, Investment Specialists, Sales and Client-facing Specialists, and Marketing teams—to secure their alignment and support. You will also represent the Content team in relevant forums, contributing to a collaborative and inclusive approach to content development.
Skills and experience: Investment writing and/or content experience gained in Asset Management or financial journalism, with excellent writing and editing skills. Keen interest in financial markets and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Proven ability to spot market trends and generate insightful content. Confidence in stakeholder engagement and management. Proven ability to convert complex data into quality content allied with a strong attention to detail.
