Governance and Controls Consultant – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
We’re looking for a Governance and Controls Consultant to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong understanding and a passion for governance, controls, and operational excellence.
A bit about the job:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to oversee breach management and governance processes across our investment operations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate reporting and full regulatory compliance. You will manage operational management information (MI), including breach statistics and Depositary reporting, while also leading the end-to-end Class Action process with robust tracking mechanisms. Additionally, you will support investment assurance activities such as market oversight, controls testing, and business monitoring, contributing to the overall integrity and efficiency of our operations.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience with governance frameworks and risk systems (e.g. iCare, RED)
- Strong knowledge of UK/EU regulations (COBS, COLL, CASS, MIFID, UCITS, DP)
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills
- Confident in managing meetings and driving governance best practices
