I lead the fixed income platform at Aviva Investors, overseeing global teams and strategies across rates, investment grade, high yield, emerging market debt and global liquidity. My focus is on driving performance, building resilient portfolios, and embedding sustainability at the heart of our investment approach.
What drew me to Aviva Investors was its progressive mindset. This is a business that understands how to partner with institutional clients, particularly insurers, and deliver strategies that are both bespoke and high-conviction.
I joined Aviva Investors in 2024, bringing with me two decades of experience in asset management. Before this, I was Head of Fixed Income at Federated Hermes, where I led strategies with strong long-term track records and played a key role in advancing sustainable credit investing. That included launching award-winning strategies that integrated engagement and climate objectives into portfolio design.
I hold an MA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Aberdeen and an MSc in Investment Analysis from the University of Stirling. I’m also a CFA Charterholder. Throughout my career, I’ve been recognised by industry publications including Financial News, Citywire, and Investment Week, and I’ve had the opportunity to serve on several boards and committees including CFA UK and the University of Aberdeen’s investment committee.
