This is a great job for someone with experience of EMIR and MAS derivatives regulatory reporting within a financial sector organisation. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support and oversee regulatory reporting for derivative transactions across multiple jurisdictions. In this role, you will ensure Aviva Investors’ delegated reporting model fully supports clients’ obligations under UK and EU EMIR, as well as MAS requirements for Singapore-based trading activity.
You will support daily trade reporting processes, regularly review outputs at trade repositories to maintain accuracy and compliance. Acting as a key representative for Aviva Investors, you will support engagement with industry bodies and forums on regulatory reporting matters, stay abreast of external developments, and ensure new and existing business adheres to evolving regulatory standards. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with Compliance, Business Risk, and internal stakeholders to meet governance requirements and support quarterly regulatory reporting forums.
This position requires strong decision‑making skills, as you will be accountable for complex regulatory and operational decisions that impact clients, shareholders, and the wider organisation.
Skills and Experience- General market knowledge and understanding of financial products.
- Ability to clearly articulate issues, with supporting analysis and documentation.
- Knowledge and experience of working with affirmation platforms, counterparties, clearing brokers and internal teams to address identified reporting issues.
- Knowledge and experience of EMIR and MAS reporting requirements.
- Graduate or Master’s degree.
