Position based in London. Contractual location London; other locations cannot be considered.

We are recruiting for an Asset Valuation & Technical Oversight Analyst. The role supports and manages a wide range of internal and external stakeholders while ensuring accurate pricing data across all asset types, including OTC derivatives, within the IBoR and ABoR.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and governance of Aviva Investors’ outsourced middle‑office function, assessing processes to enhance quality, controls, reduce risk, and improve efficiency.
  • Serve as subject‑matter expert in asset pricing; contribute to both near‑term and long‑term change initiatives, defining and delivering effective solutions across business‑as‑usual activity and projects.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up‑to‑date process documentation and act as operational liaison for bespoke transactions.
  • Provide technical insight into the design, development, maintenance, and governance of valuation models and introduce new valuation techniques for innovative or bespoke trading activity.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Comfortable discussing complex valuation techniques with Fund Managers / Analysts.
  • Understand valuation techniques used in bespoke transactions.
  • Working knowledge of a range of OTC tradable instruments (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to explain pricing models and valuation techniques to Senior Management and Executive members clearly and concisely.
  • IMC / CFA preferred but not essential.
