We are recruiting for a Marketing Manager to join our Marketing function. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience in marketing within the financial services sector, supporting product and brand initiatives. The purpose of this role is to support the strategy, planning and delivery of effective, compliant and insight‑led marketing activity that drives Aviva Investors’ growth in the UK financial adviser market and supports future ambition in the direct to consumer (D2C) space. Working closely with colleagues across marketing, investment, sales, digital and compliance, the role strengthens our presence with advisers and strategic partners through integrated campaigns and high‑quality adviser‑facing materials. The Marketing Manager will contribute to the end‑to‑end delivery of marketing activity, managing multiple workstreams to agreed plans and timelines, ensuring all materials and campaigns meet FCA financial promotions requirements and Consumer Duty principles. The role will also support campaign performance tracking and reporting, using insight to inform continuous improvement and ensure marketing activity drives engagement, supports distribution outcomes and aligns with Aviva Investors’ brand and regulatory standards.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Institutional experience and knowledge (i.e., working with DB/DC Pension and LGPS) is essential.
  • A degree or equivalent professional experience in marketing or a related discipline. Relevant marketing or financial services qualifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Understanding of Consumer Duty and broader UK regulatory requirements is an advantage.
  • Integrated marketing planning, campaign delivery and performance measurement understanding and experience.
  • Digital marketing, content development and stakeholder management within a regulated environment.

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Competitive salary (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications).
  • Discretionary bonus opportunity - depending on individual performance and Aviva Investors’!
  • Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
  • 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can choose to buy or sell up to 5 days!
  • Aviva-funded Private Medical Benefit to help you get expert support when you need it.
  • Make your money go further with up to 40% discount on Aviva products, and other retailer discounts.
  • Up to £1,200 of free Aviva shares per year through our Matching Share Plan and share in the success of Aviva with our Save As You Earn scheme.
  • Brilliantly supportive policies including parental and carer’s leave.
  • Flexible benefits to suit you, including sustainability options such as cycle to work.
  • Make a difference, be part of our Aviva Communities and use your 3 annual volunteering days to help others.

We’re inclusive and welcome everyone – we want applications from all backgrounds and experiences. Excited but not sure you tick every box? Even if you don’t, we would still encourage you to apply. We also consider all forms of flexible working, including part time and job shares. Most of our people are smart working – spending at least 50% of their time in our offices every week - combining the benefits of flexibility, with time together with colleagues.
